Who you are
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in technology, aerospace, or disaster management
- A degree in marketing, communication, or a related field
- Native English speaker; Spanish is a huge plus
- You are proficient in all common office programs and know the basics of design-related programs like Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong skills in storytelling, especially in turning complex technology into relatable benefits
- You have a high degree of independence, are full of creativity, and like to work in a result- and solution-oriented manner
- A knowledge of or desire to learn more about wildfire culture, technology, and science
- Deep project management and coordination skills, with a collaborative spirit
- Ability to work cross-functionally between time zones while communicating between different cultures
- Cool as a cucumber under pressure. A calling to market amazing technology as we change the world
- A desire to travel as needed
What the job involves
- Are you fascinated by space, data, and the impact of technology on wildfire and environmental issues? Do you enjoy spreading awareness on innovative technologies? We use space-based technology to detect and monitor wildfires and climate impact
- We are looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to join our team and elevate our US awareness with engaging product marketing
- Be our representative for US-specific marketing and communications. Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure that OKRs and marketing plans are achieved
- Support conference and field marketing activities, including logistics, material preparation, and coordination with the US sales team
- Develop co-marketing opportunities with strategic partners and customers in our target markets, including wildfire agencies, carbon credits, insurance, and more
- Brainstorm and execute case studies, testimonials, and sales enablement materials tailored to a US customer's needs
- Suggest impactful optimizations and recommendations to US digital marketing campaigns
- Join the global marketing team in adapting brand messaging for American audiences
- Coordinate with vendors to supply necessary marketing materials and services for the US office
- Organize and report on marketing campaigns and initiatives for the region
- Format existing sales and marketing materials as needed

Global temperatures are on the rise, and climate change is leading to more frequent high-temperature extremes, such as heatwaves and wildfires. Looking to help slow and combat global warming is OroraTech, a thermal intelligence solution.
The company uses its 20+ satellites and artificial intelligence to acquire and track thermal data. This means that events like wildfires can be detected early, which could be a game changer for reducing their environmental impact. Extending from natural disasters, the technology also has potential in other sectors like smart farming and insurance.
Thanks to funding, OroraTech has expanded ibeyond its roots in Germany, making its mark in Brazil, Canada, and Australia. The company has also taken a giant leap forward by partnering with Rocket Lab, who have launched 8 wildfire detection staellites into orbit for OroraTech. This partnership is a huge milestone in OroraTech;'s journey, propelling it even closer to its mission.
