Who you are
- We're seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Recruiting Specialist to join our growing People Operations team
- If you're passionate about creating exceptional candidate experiences, building strong talent pipelines, and contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, we want to hear from you
- Proven Recruiting Acumen: 3+ years of dedicated experience in recruiting roles, with a strong preference for experience within a fast-paced startup, staffing agency background or technology company
- HR Best Practices Guru: Solid understanding of HR best practices, comprehensive recruitment methodologies, and relevant employment laws and regulations
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates, hiring managers, and team members at all levels
- Detail-Oriented & Discreet: A meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and an unwavering ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Tech-Savvy & Proficient: Proficiency in various HR software platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS) (Workable), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Results-Driven & Hands-On: A "get your hands dirty" attitude, a strong sense of ownership, and a relentless drive to deliver results, regardless of whether the work is strategic or operational
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically about talent acquisition and how it aligns with overall business objectives, contributing to long-term organizational success
What the job involves
- In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in attracting, engaging, and onboarding the top-tier talent that will drive our mission forward
- Recruitment and Onboarding Excellence: Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from crafting compelling job postings and meticulously screening resumes to coordinating and scheduling interviews. Ensure every new hire experiences a seamless and welcoming onboarding process, setting them up for success from day one
- Strategic Sourcing & Attraction: Leverage a diverse range of channels – including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referral programs – to proactively source and engage passive candidates. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to consistently attract best-in-class talent across all departments
- Proactive Talent Pipelining: Build and continuously nurture robust talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles within CADDi. Anticipate future hiring needs and maintain a consistent pool of qualified candidates to minimize time-to-fill and ensure continuous growth
- Data-Driven Market Analysis: Utilize market data, industry insights, and your expertise to identify, attract, and influence diverse talent acquisition strategies. Contribute to long-term hiring plans by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on market trends and competitor analysis
- HR Administration & Support: Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and employee files. Assist with generating HR reports and analytics to inform strategic decision-making. Coordinate impactful employee events, training programs, and professional development initiatives that enhance our team's capabilities
- Culture & Engagement Champion: Actively support initiatives that strengthen CADDi's unique company culture and boost employee engagement. Organize and facilitate team-building activities and recognition programs that celebrate our collective achievements and foster a collaborative environment
Our take
CADDi provides solutions to streamline procurement in the manufacturing industry, delivering an ordering and supply platform, as well as an AI-enabled drawings search system. The search system is particularly interesting because, according to the company, drawings data is the "most important data" in manufacturing.
Through CADDi, manufacturers can procure materials such as sheet metal and machining from an array of partners. By collecting these options in one place, the platform saves users time and effort because they don't have to conduct a search themselves. Similarly, CADDI's drawing search means users can source say, a complex machine part, from just a drawing - without needing to know any further details.
Having already established a strong presence in Japan, CADDi has begun international expansion efforts, beginning with a US division. It is well-funded, and is investing in growing its team and its network of suppliers, as well as further enhancing the technological capabilities its drawings search feature.
