Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of HRBP experience, with at least 3+ years in a dedicated role supporting Engineering or Product organizations
- Proven track record acting as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, capable of leading significant projects with minimal day-to-day supervision
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex people metrics and dashboards to identify trends in engagement and turnover, turning insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong ability to build trust-based relationships with technical stakeholders and use coaching frameworks to help leaders solve problems independently
- Ability to analyze root causes and evaluate risks/benefits to drive impactful outcomes that align with broader company objectives
Desirable
- Experience navigating both high-growth start-up environments and mature, large-scale organizations
- Google Suite, specifically advanced Sheets and Pivot tables
- Proficiency in using RAPID and RACI frameworks to clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes

- We are looking for a Principal HR Business Partner to join our People team
- In this role, you will be a strategic advisor to our Engineering and Product (EPD) leadership teams, taking on high-impact people challenges and initiatives that directly influence our ability to scale
- You will provide expert coaching on performance management, strategic hiring, and career development, ensuring our technical teams have the environment they need to thrive

Our take
More than half of adults in the US will be diagnosed with a mental illness during their lifetime, and yet inaccessibility of treatment remains a huge problem. That’s what Rula aims to solve, with its platform that matches users to therapists that are covered by their insurance.
The company, formerly known as Path, is partnered with a number of major health insurers, including UnitedHealthcare and Anthem, making it an accessible service for millions of Americans. It allows users to browse therapists almost instantly, with just a short questionnaire to fill in before their matches are shown.
Though the market for tech services offering mental health provision is an overstuffed one, with giants like BetterHelp as well as newer competitors, Rula's partnerships with insurers set it apart. The business has been steadily growing, and significantly bolstered its executive team in 2023. Its recent rebrand was designed to emphasise its vision to improve not only access to mental health care, but also clinical outcomes.
