Role
Who you are
- Candidate must be a full-time student currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 0-2 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency with Python
- Experience using Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be curious, eager, open to learning, and independent
What the job involves
- Assist in test planning, design, and execution for new and existing software features
- Develop software and scripts in Python and bash to automate SQA test cases and processes
- Work with a mentor to solve a real-world robotics problem appropriate for the time frame allowed
- Coordinate with other engineers and technical experts in developing and validating an approach and implementing one or more solutions
- Working with a multidisciplinary team to develop, debug, and deploy software for controlling physical components comprising robotic applications
- Documenting the results of test runs and presenting findings to software engineers
