Who you are

Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience including 3+ years of automated testing / software development in test experience
Excellent coding skills, preferably in Ruby and/or any other modern programming language
BDD approaches and tools (Gherkin/Cucumber)
Selenium (preferably Capybara, SitePrism)
Foundational understanding of client - server communication (GraphQL, RestAPI, RPC)
Understanding of CI/CD process and server tools knowledge (preferably GitLab-CI)
Basic Linux/Mac, Git

What the job involves

As a Software Engineer In Test within the Workday Strategic Sourcing product team you will be tasked with creating robust automated tests, taking care of pipeline issues, providing support and guidance for developers when they are facing issues
A core part of the individual's responsibilities are not only writing automated tests but understanding, defining and planning work by understanding the team's priorities related to E2E automation and performance testing
Planning and implementing automation tests from product requirements and test cases
Guiding developers in automated testing
Improve automated testing, development and delivery solutions
Provide feedback and support for test engineering architecture team
