Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF electronics development and product lifecycle management
- You have 5+ years of experience in program management within the semiconductor or consumer electronics industries
- You have familiarity with both analog circuit design and digital design development processes and workflows
- You have proficiency in project management tools like MS Project,SmartSheet, or Jira
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You have hands-on experience with tracking and managing schedules, risk logs, and documentation
- You have experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
What the job involves
- The Technical Program Manager, Electronics Products will focus on tracking schedules, managing documentation, monitoring risk, and reporting progress across various teams
- They will ensure that program objectives are met through meticulous attention to detail in project execution and communication
- This position will report to the Director, Technical Program Management in our Saratoga, CA Office. They will work closely with Product Managers and Responsible Engineers from our User Equipment team and Ground Infrastructure team
- Maintain and update project schedules to ensure timely execution of key deliverables, tracking milestones and deadlines while providing regular status updates
- Collaborate with team leads to manage resources and priorities
- Organize and maintain all program-related documentation, including project plans, technical documents, reports, and meeting minutes
- Identify potential risks and maintain a risk log, working with project leads to develop mitigation strategies and track the resolution of key delays
- Prepare and distribute regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and any potential delays
- Facilitate communication across teams and disciplines, ensuring stakeholders are well informed
- Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting action items, and following up on deliverables
- Ensure external partners, vendors, and internal teams adhere to program schedules and documentation requirements
- Assist in budget tracking and expedite the procurement process as needed
Our take
Designed with a vision to democratize space, E-Space will provide custom networks for companies and governments so that entities can access space without high costs but with zero trust topology for cybersecurity.
Critics will look for the cost this sort of project will have on the environment but E-Space has built sustainability into every aspect of the business. The satellites are designed to actively and sacrificially capture and deorbit small debris in space whilst the constellation will be launched into small cross sections to reduce vulnerability to collisions.
Following the company’s ‘Beta 1’ launch of its test satellites as well as the second ‘Beta 2’ launch, the company is exploring mass production. E-Space also acquired CommAgility and intends to integrate its source code into a network of potentially hundreds of thousands of connectivity satellites.
