- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- This role is primarily performed in an office or home office setting and involves standard computer-based work
What the job involves
- The Senior Release Manager is a strategic partner within the technology organization, reporting to SVP of Global Engineering
- This role works closely with engineering, product and enterprise project management teams to plan, coordinate and govern enterprise-wide technology releases
- In this role, you will provide operational leadership to define organizational release strategies, manage release pipelines and ensure adherence to governance standards
- You will oversee release planning, risk management and stakeholder communication to ensure high-quality delivery of technology initiatives
- This position is critical for fostering collaboration across teams by aligning release activities with business priorities, providing transparency into release progress and enabling successful execution of technology initiatives during periods of transformation and change
- Develop and sustain enterprise-wide release strategy, processes, and governance in collaboration with engineering, product, and enterprise project management teams
- Plan, coordinate and execute releases across multiple teams and platforms, ensuring quality, timeliness and alignment with business objectives
- Establish release calendars, roadmaps and communication channels to provide visibility into upcoming releases, risks and dependencies
- Implement release management procedures, like process automation, documentation, and adherence to governance and compliance standards
- Provide reporting, metrics and stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization
