What the job involves
- We’re looking for motivated Interns to join our Global Logistics Data Engineering team
- Your main mission: help us modernize our ingestion pipelines, porting Airflow ingestion DAGs, and taking advantage of Real-Time data streaming
- We invite you to join an opportunity where you can work on real-world projects, building a modern, future-proofing data platform
- This is a hands-on role. You'll dive into real data, build experience with the Google Cloud Platform, and work alongside a global team of experienced data professionals
- Porting existing ingestion DAGs to the new Airflow ingestion platform
- Refactoring existing Data Lake code to take advantage of real-time streaming
- Implementing data quality and governance practices to ensure data accuracy
- Collaborating with experienced engineers to understand technical and business needs
- Documenting and improving processes along the way
- By the end of your internship, you’ll have hands-on experience with:
- Gain experience working with Airflow and the Google Cloud Platform
- How to work with large amounts of data
- Best practices in data quality and automation
- Collaboration in a global team environment
- Work on a Real-world project
- Hours: Flexible, but a minimum of 24 hours per week. (Exact schedule can be discussed.)
- The opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a hands-on internship
