Head of Business Operations, Turion Space

• This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone with strong business operations experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to shape how space systems are built from the ground up
• 5+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, program operations, or a similar role preferably in aerospace or defense
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities
• Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to build and operationalize models for workforce forecasting and financial planning
• Proven ability to implement tools and systems that scale operational execution across multiple teams
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret and/or TS/SCI security clearance

• Workforce Planning & Resource Allocation
• Design and implement workforce planning models that align staffing across internal R&D and external program delivery
• Build a system for real-time employee allocation, integrating with hiring plans, program execution, and BD forecasts
• Establish coordination workflows with department leads to ensure dynamic, data-driven resourcing decisions
• Business Development & Go-to-Market Operations
• Partner with the CEO, COO, and BD executives to manage and optimize the business development pipeline
• Run pipeline meetings and build reporting structures to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and capture probability metrics (p-go, p-win, etc)
• Evaluate and implement systems (e.g., CRM, workflow tools) that support pipeline tracking, reporting, and internal collaboration
• Lead operational initiatives that translate strategic opportunities into repeatable, scalable processes

• Surge into critical operational areas as needed bringing a flexible and data-driven approach to solve problems and implement lasting and cohesive processes / systems
