- Experience in fast-paced SaaS (Series A/B preferred)
- Advanced Python, SQL, backend APIs, and cloud integrations
- Frontend customizations with React/Next.js
- Hands-on GCP experience (Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Firestore)
- Familiar with security, IAM, and monitoring
- Skilled at discovery sessions, workshops, and executive presentations
- Can frame technical work as business value (ROI, adoption, outcomes)
- Experienced in delivering multiple deployments at once
- Worked in scaling SaaS startups (Series A–C)
- Built reusable deployment frameworks
- Familiar with enterprise requirements (compliance, documentation)
What the job involves
- We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner directly with customers and make our AI-native SaaS platform feel like it was built for them
- This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll spend as much time with customers as you do with code
- You’ll design and deploy solutions in the field, configure integrations, and make sure our platform lands smoothly in real-world environments
- Think of this role as backend major, frontend minor: strong in Python, SQL, APIs, and integrations, with enough React/Next.js to tailor client-facing workflows
- Just as critical are your soft skills — you’ll be in the room with executives, helping them connect technical solutions to business outcomes
- Work side by side with clients. Learn their workflows. Spot pain points. Build solutions that fit their reality — not the “ideal case.”
- Adapt APIs, backend services, and integrations for each customer. Use your frontend skills where needed to tweak experiences and boost adoption
- Write production-grade code, integrate systems, and iterate quickly. Speed, reliability, and customer impact matter most
- Bring field insights back into the product roadmap. Surface edge cases, guide integrations, and ensure we’re always building for customer reality
- Your deployments won’t just “work” — they’ll deliver measurable results. Efficiency, cost savings, stickiness — outcomes that matter
- You’ll talk ROI with executives, not just APIs. You’ll frame technical wins as business wins
