Who you are

Hands-on experience in machine learning, analytics, statistical methodology and demonstrated experience using these techniques to solve research and business problems
Leading a team of Data Scientists, responsible for their professional development and performance
Demonstrate knowledge of methodologies in Statistics, Data Science, and Machine Learning
Experience in applying Data Science to business problems and/or product development
Experience with MLOps practices
Experience with AWS SageMaker, ECR, Batch
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Expertise in Python and SQL
Experience producing effective data visualizations
Experience with project management practices (Agile or SDLC)
Requires a minimum of 8 years of related or equivalent experience; or 6+ years with an advanced degree

What the job involves

You will work closely with operational teams within the business to gain a broad understanding of the company’s data science needs
In this exciting role, you will lead a team of data scientists to deliver analytics solutions that positively impact business outcomes
Managing data science projects and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure deliverables are met
Developing and implementing predictive models in a production environment
Testing and improvement of deployed solutions to maintain expected levels of accuracy
Eliminating “black box” distrust of data science models through effective communication and partnership
Developing and supporting data science principles and standard methodologies
