Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of leadership experience on software teams as a Technical Program Manager or Development Manager
- Machine learning experience, ideally in applied settings where models or AI systems were shipped, integrated, evaluated, or operated in production
- Working knowledge of Agentic AI (e.g., machine learning, model lifecycle, data pipelines)
- Experience designing workflows where AI accelerates execution (coding, triage, diagnostics) without compromising system quality or increasing on-call burden
- Fluency in providing deep technical, product, and user context to AI systems to achieve high-quality output
- Experience delivering complex projects or solutions that span different groups within an organization
- Excellent verbal and written skills coupled with an ability to present to all levels in an organization, whether explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives or discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers
- Skilled at influencing stakeholders and leadership to develop systems, solutions, and products
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks
- Experience with common software development tools (e.g. GitHub, bitbucket, Jenkins) and public cloud technology (e.g. AWS, Azure etc)

- We are seeking an ambitious Staff Technical Program Manager who puts customers first and will deliver our most challenging product development programs
- This includes managing program schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to program stakeholders. We are looking for people who love to get stuff done, and laugh a bit along the way

- You will be a key contributor to the success of the Product and Engineering teams and shape the future of the Technical Program Management role at Cribl
- This role reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Program Management
- Collaborate on the engineering organization's pivot to an agent-first Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Manage cross-system integration and interoperability of the org-wide AI workflow, ensuring agents across Core Platform, SRE, and Support communicate effectively
- Partner with AI Engineering to ensure operational readiness for AI-owned capabilities and systems, including defining clear escalation paths, incident handling procedures and Go-to-Market readiness
- Provide leadership for development initiatives and lead the end to end delivery of the most complex initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring successful outcomes
- Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities
- Drive Technical Program Management best practices and develop best of class software development processes
- Use deep technical skills and domain knowledge to influence the strategic direction of teams and the department
- Define and track improvement to metrics for quality and performance across complex projects involving many teams
- Develop methods for ongoing communication of planning, program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
- We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours

As companies now collect more and more data from frequently scattered sources, its useability and reliability comes into question. By offering an observability service, Cribl allows users to maintain the health of their data systems by monitoring, tracking and troubleshooting issues.
Cribl's main challenge will be competing with the likes of Observe and Edge Delta. However, Cribl has raised impressive funds that should accelerate its transition from a limited-function tool vendor to a fully fledged observability suite. The company also boasts surpassing $300 million in annual recurring revenue, having grown this from $1 million in less than four years.
