Who you are
- Technical experience sufficient to lead the team and help out with hands-on work
- Some experience with Data Engineering would be desirable
- Experience successfully leading small teams

What the job involves
- As the KWS team has grown, we need to add an Engineering Lead to take responsibility for our Data Engineering and Developer Experience teams within KWS. These two teams have existed separately, but as part of hiring this role, we are bringing them together under one Engineering Lead
- Be the lead for a number of engineers in the KWS teams
- Take on management responsibilities for contract engineers working in the teams
- Provide leadership to the KWS Data Engineering and Developer Experience teams
- Form part of KWS leadership, working on cross-team issues with your peers
- Form a close team with the other two engineering leads in KWS to lead the team’s day-to-day work
- Work closely with other teams across Epic
- Work with the KWS Engineering Director to develop the future structure of KWS teams and be involved in the detailed technical work of both teams

This will enable Disney to promote iconic characters through the Fortnite game. With the number of people enjoying video games continuing to grow, there is no sign of Epic Games slowing down any time soon.
