- 🎓 You have a background and keen interest in marketing, giving you a solid foundation for understanding content and digital marketing
- 📊 You understand the fundamentals of SEO. You have 1–2 years of experience through studies, internships, or projects, and a solid grasp of how search engines work, including search intent and content alignment
- 👥 You care about creating content that genuinely helps people. You have a strong eye for high-quality, user-centric content and understand what makes it valuable and engaging
- 📣 You understand content distribution. You have basic knowledge and experience with distributing content across channels such as social platforms, communities, and external sites, and recognize its role in driving visibility and reach
- ️ You have basic experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or Ahrefs
- 🗂️ You work in a structured and reliable way. You plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively, maintaining a high level of attention to detail. You bring an organized, conscientious approach to execution and follow through on what you start

What the job involves
- As a Junior SEO Manager, you will support the implementation of our SEO strategy on multiple levels, such as content creation, optimization and publishing, as well as distributing and promoting content across various channels
- You support our content production. You research our ICP’s needs, pain points, and behaviors to identify high-impact content opportunities. Based on that, you brainstorm and propose new topics and prepare detailed content briefings for writers. You also create supporting visuals for new articles using our design templates in Figma
- You optimize existing content for better performance. You analyze performance data to identify articles that need improvement, expansion, or consolidation. You run keyword research and competitive analysis to uncover gaps and opportunities. You actively support on-page optimization, improving elements like meta data, headings, internal linking, and content structure. You also contribute to optimizing content for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), ensuring our visibility in AI-powered search environments
- You ensure our content is published accurately. You set up new and update existing pages and articles in our CMS, ensuring technical and SEO best practices are followed. You care about the details that influence performance, from formatting to indexing readiness
- You distribute our content across relevant channels to maximize reach and authority. You support and execute our content distribution across different channels like social media, communities, and external sites. You help increase our authority by gaining brand mentions on relevant, high-quality sites. You understand that great content only delivers value when it reaches the right audience
- You track the performance of our content. You work with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEOsurfer to monitor rankings, traffic, and engagement. You also assist with technical SEO fundamentals, including site structure, page speed and performance
- In this role, you directly influence how Filestage is discovered, evaluated, and trusted in search — shaping the first touchpoint of the customer journey
Our take
Creating marketing campaigns involves an iterative process of content creation review, and this can be cumbersome to organise due to the back-and-forth exchanging of files. This has been made even more complicated due to the rise in remote workforces, with workforces lacking the necessary tools to facilitate a smooth campaign creation pipeline.
Filestage provides a digital media review and approval platform, providing remote and hybrid teams with a single point of knowledge for the deadlines, review, feedback, and file versions of marketing campaigns. The file management tools help to ensure that users are consistently collaborating on the most recent version of a file, with every user also having access to any contextual feedback.
Many startups are creating platforms around audience targeting, personalisation, and other marketing campaign innovations, but Filestage has found a unique place in the market by focussing on making collaboration and review pipelines frictionless for any workforce. Through its platform, the company aims to help increase the rate companies can create marketing campaigns, without file transfer and management presenting obstacles.
