Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of increasing responsibilities across various areas of the P&C domain in a rapid-growth startup or similar environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- You have successfully developed and executed P&C strategies while managing and prioritizing day-to-day operations
- You have a strong sense of urgency and are proactive and accountable
- You feel right at home in a startup environment where learning is constant, and OKRs, continuous feedback, and curiosity form the backbone of our operations
- You’re eligible to work in the EU and are fluent in English. Additional language skills are welkom/wilkommen/bienvenido/kyaosopartaal
What the job involves
- The People & Culture Team is the cornerstone of our success, driving our ability to attract, retain, and empower exceptional talent
- Reporting to our CEO and part of our Management Team, you will own all aspects of P&C operations and strategy, playing a pivotal role in shaping our culture and enabling our growth
- Work closely together with management to embed a performance-driven culture of feedback
- Optimize retention through owning the eNPS process, including iteration and follow-up
- Actively manage and optimize our recruitment process, from job postings to interviews and offer negotiations, ensuring a pipeline of top talent
- Oversee our HRIS Bamboo, ensuring accurate employee records and smooth processes at all times

DealRoom is a financial software company that serves corporate development, investment banking, and private equity professionals. Its primary focus is creating secure and efficient workflows for complex transactions. Crucially, by moving away from Excel and email, teams gain deal-wide visibility reducing the risk of value being unrealized.
By focusing purely on improving the process of M&A with software, the team is well-positioned to profit in times when the market is on a tear (like the 2010s) and times when deals dry up, but returns are more precious. It's because of this single-minded approach to process optimisation that the startup’s technology is now being used by some of the world’s leading boutique firms.
