Quality Engineer, Iru

• 2+ years of experience in a device management or software testing role
• Excellent time management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, methodical, and out-of-the-box thinking

• At Iru, we use an embedded team model for our QA Engineers. You will be placed directly on a development team and work with software engineers, product managers, and UX designers
• As the QA representative on the development team, you will own all of the functional testing requirements for that project, uphold quality best practices, and communicate effectively with all team members and stakeholders
• You will be expected to proactively build and execute test plans, manage larger testing projects, and work in tandem with developers/product/ux to deliver the highest quality features/code for our customers
• You will also be responsible for maintaining and growing our automated test coverage via Playwright
• Overall, we are looking for testers who can exhibit a high amount of ownership, technical aptitude, passion, and communication to bring our team to the next level
• Manage, drive, and own the entire functional testing process for your scrum team
• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, swarm test sessions, and test procedures
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
• Reproduce, diagnose, and document software defects with clarity and precision
• Engage in early product development discussions to ideate, review, and catch potential issues before code is written
• Attend and contribute to daily scrum ceremonies
• Work closely with developers to identify and iterate on all code moving through the system
• Contribute to growing our automation test coverage and maintenance of tests
• Maintain high levels of communication with all team members, stakeholders, and the QA team
• Be the champion for our users by upholding quality standards and best practices
