Role
Who you are
- Experience managing and scaling engineering teams
- Track record of delivering customer-facing products in fintech, SaaS, or similar domains
- Strong hands-on experience with all or a combination of Node.js, TypeScript, Go, DART, and Python
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about the payments industry and emerging technologies
- Excellent communication in English and adept at writing coherent strategy and vision documents to drive alignment across the business
- Deep understanding of what makes a great customer and developer experience

What the job involves
- As Engineering Manager for the Frontrunners team at Enfuce, you will lead a talented, remote team of engineers (frontend and backend) in building and evolving our customer-facing products
- Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be at the forefront of transforming our platform, myEnfuce, myApp, and myPortal, into seamless, intuitive, and scalable solutions for both customers and developers
- This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine technical expertise, strategic vision, and a passion for user experience to deliver products that set the standard in the fintech industry
- Mentor, inspire, and develop a high-performing remote engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning
- Oversee the end-to-end engineering execution for customer-facing products, including the myEnfuce platform, myApp, and myPortal
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and Service Design to deliver a seamless onboarding journey for both customers and developers, including reviewing and expanding onboarding interfaces
- Own the quality and clarity of our service and API documentation, ensuring developers have the resources they need for rapid, successful integration
- Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Technical Writers, and other stakeholders to align vision, strategy, and execution
- Champion engineering best practices, code quality, and scalable processes using technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Dart (mobile), and Python
- Act as a strong advocate for both customers and developers, leveraging feedback and analytics to drive continuous enhancements

The rise of open banking has allowed fintechs to provide more personalised customer experiences, but setting up these systems requires specialists. It can also be difficult for smaller companies to provide more simple services such as fast card issuing and payments, reducing their ability to compete with other financial services.
Enfuce provides card issuing and payment services, helping clients to launch feature-rich payment cards that are secure, compliant, and quick to deploy. The company also helps businesses set up open banking systems, allowing customers to share their financial data to facilitate the creation of personalised financial tools.
Whilst many companies provide cards and open banking financial tools, this often requires complimentary infrastructure and software engineers - resources that many businesses are unable to access. Enfuce has been smart to offer a suite that allows any business to rapidly deploy cards and financial services, and continues to forge impressive partnerships as it doubles down on this core goal.
