What the job involves
- The Startups Partnership team is a core growth engine at Brex, playing a pivotal role in driving top-of-funnel leads to the team and expanding our market footprint. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships, cultivating partnerships from the ground up, seamlessly integrating new partners into our ecosystem, and consistently hitting targets by transforming these connections into a steady stream of client referrals
- You will work closely with VCs, accelerators, incubators, law firms, and other like-minded industry partners to fuel scalable growth. If you have a history of exceeding expectations and a passion for creating mutually beneficial business relationships, this could be your chance to make a significant impact in a fast growing environment
- Identify, cultivate, and deepen relationships with high-potential VC’s, Accelerators, Incubators, and more
- Craft and implement tailored go-to-market strategies for each partner
- Facilitate smooth onboarding of new partners and their teams
- Serve as a product expert, articulating our value proposition to partners
- Be the connective tissue for partners to the Brex ecosystem
- Work cross-functionally across marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform our product roadmap
- Conduct regular performance reviews with key partners
- Become an expert in Brex's product, features, and workflows and augment the voice of our Partners
Our take
Brex started its life providing corporate credit cards aimed mainly at startups and SMBs. Since then, it has gradually evolved its model towards becoming a one-stop finance shop for companies. It has also adapted to serve a much wider range of businesses, from startups to enterprises.
As the largest modern corporate card platform, Brex serves over 20,000 businesses globally, and is responsible for the processing of tens of billions of dollars in transactions. It has raised significant capital and reached a peak valuation of $12.3 billion in 2022.
With the landscape of companies clamouring to meet financial needs increasing by the day, Brex is well set to see continued growth. In 2026 it was announced that Capital One will be purchasing the company in order to pursue its ambition to “build a payments company at the frontier of the technology revolution.”
