Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of manual QA experience, demonstrating strong skills in shift left approach, functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Strong interest in Blockchain technology
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues, test results, and quality concerns to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Good organisational skills to manage the workload efficiently and understand the priorities for efficient test coverage
- Familiarity with mobile applications, extensions and cross-browser testing
- Able to seamlessly transition between projects with similar technologies and domains to efficiently contribute from the start
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying edge cases and assessing risk areas effectively
- Understanding Agile environments, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience or knowledge in Web 3 specific industry domains or Fintech
- Experience mentoring junior QA team members and contributing to process improvements
- Demonstrates leadership in driving quality initiatives and setting testing standards across projects

- Be at the heart of our manual testing strategy
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and reviewing requirements to ensure a solid understanding of what needs to be tested
- Implement manual testing procedures during the development cycle and manage the priorities for efficient and comprehensive test coverage
- Jump seamlessly between projects to handle the testing challenges and proactively contribute to product quality
- Advocating for the best possible experience for Argentās end users
- As a QA Engineer with a focus on world-class user experience (UX) and robust security, you will take ownership of the entire testing lifecycle
- Youāll be a critical part of a dynamic, agile team that ships innovative new features. Your mission will be to ensure the quality, usability, and security of the product
Our take
The public popularity of cryptocurrency is increasing, but the level of sophistication required is holding back mainstream adoption, and concepts like seed phrases and cold wallets have meant crypto has stayed mainly within technology-savvy communities. To open the space up to more users, Argent have created a smart wallet which feels more like logging into your bank account, where people can buy, earn, stake, and trade on Ethereum Layer 2.
Argent's pull is in its consumer-friendly, non-intimidating approach. It boasts low fees, high speeds, and quality security, alongside all the functions of saving, sending, borrowing, earning interest, and investing. Additionally, users can assign Argent Guardians in the form of trusted persons, third-party services, or hardware wallets, that can approve account recovery or untrusted transactions, but do not have access to their assets, instead of having to remember a key.
With the underlying wallet infrastructure in place, Argent has plans to build a Super App combining numerous DeFi and Web 3.0 features including virtual real estate, gaming, and NFTs. The company has seen growing demand from Latin America, and will begin expansion into the region with entry into Mexico.
