Role
Who you are
- Due to the customer requirements successful applicants must be eligible for high level UK Security clearance, SC and be flexible to travel to our London Offices when required
- Strong campaign management and/or cross-channel data-driven marketing execution whereby you have demonstrated an ability to communicate and influence stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics, and tools, especially Digital Marketing Sales force and Marketo) and events organization
- Ability to learn fast and leverage the team’s experience and expertise
- Ability to create innovative new marketing programs that generate results
- High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is expected
- History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
- 5 + years of Marketing and/ or agency experience
- Public Sector or Defence Experience is a bonus
- BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
- Experience in software or system integration business is a plus (5+ years)
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Salesforce and Marketo capabilities
What the job involves
- The role of Marketing Manager is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned marketing professional to play a key role in our markets marketing strategy for the UKI. We are looking for an innovative, results-oriented marketing professional
- This individual will have a key role in helping to drive the acquisition and retention of customers across the DXC portfolio for growth
- You will contribute to developing and executing marketing & communications plans for UKI and have specific responsibility for Marketing and Communications across our Public Sector and Defence business
- You will work closely with business leaders, sales and marketing. You will create awareness and preference amongst our target customers, generate demand and help build and accelerate sales pipeline
- You have a strong community of peers around you that you can tap into for experience and expertise
- Bring your fresh ideas and be part of our continual marketing & communications innovation
- Collaborate on integrated planning and design of key campaigns
- Responsible for execution of key marketing campaigns ensuring we are employing the right channel mix for an optimal client experience. This can include advertising, internal communications, events & sponsorships, web content management, social media, among others
- Ensuring delivery of effective, high-impact marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audiences and reinforce the brand
- Follow-through on contacts and leads created to generate and accelerate sales pipeline

Formed in 2017 as part of a merger with Computer Sciences Corporation, DXC has swiftly developed into a global leader in the digital transformation space, providing IT services to numerous enterprise businesses, including over half of FTSE 500-listed companies. Operating across diverse fields such as aerospace, banking, life sciences and transportation, DXC offers a full suite of data analytics, cloud technology, IT consulting and cybersecurity services to help support modernisation in almost any sector.

After a rash of large acquisitions shortly after its founding (Tribidge, Molina Medicaid Solutions and Luxoft to name just a few), DXC then went through a period of restructuring, reducing its headcount in some of its markets to allow it to compete with rivals in the IT consulting space such as Deloitte. This has paid off as DXC has returned to profitability after several years of operating at a loss while it consolidated.
DXC had a major PR win in 2022, partnering with Manchester United to be its sleeve sponsor and to help drive the club’s digital transformation. DXC is planning to move forward with a back-to-basics focus on its cybersecurity offering and is seeing major growth in this sector. It is also focusing development on its DXC Platform X technology, having formed a partnership with Dynatrace in 2022 to improve its speed and efficiency.
