Who you are
- 10+ years in Product Management, with at least 3+ years specifically leading and scaling PM teams within high-growth SaaS environments (Series C to IPO)
- Deep, hands-on experience shipping AI/ML products. You understand the nuances of LLMs, prompt engineering, and the technical trade-offs required to build reliable generative systems
- You thrive in ambiguity. You have successfully navigated the scaling pains of a rapidly expanding organization without losing sight of product quality
- Strong track record driving both technical and user-facing AI product strategy and execution
- Customer-obsessed problem solver who turns complexity into intuitive product experiences
- Effective communicator and cross-functional influencer, including at the executive level
- You don't just "ship features"; you move metrics. You are obsessed with outcomes, user retention, and building defensible competitive moats through product
What the job involves
- EvenUp is seeking an exceptional Director (or Senior Director) of Product to shape the future of our platform and drive meaningful impact
- Reporting to our VP of Product & Design, this person will lead a critical part of our platform, managing a team of product managers and partnering closely with leaders across engineering, data science, design, marketing, and sales to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions
- This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to define bold strategies, inspire a high-performing team, and apply your expertise in product management and AI to solve complex, meaningful problems
- Define and drive product strategy across multiple products and platforms, with a focus on launching AI products that deliver broad and deep value to law firms
- Lead and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of extreme ownership, rapid velocity, and technical excellence
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, GTM, and leadership to prioritize, build, and ship impactful solutions at scale
- Balance vision and execution, moving fluidly between long-term strategy and hands-on involvement in AI product design, experimentation, and iteration
Our take
Every year, millions of personal injury cases in the US are resolved with only a small fraction going to trial, leaving many victims potentially under-compensated due to inaccurate settlement proposals. EvenUp aims to change this by leveraging AI technology to streamline the assessment of injury cases.
The AI tools evaluate raw case files, including medical and police records, creating tailored "demand packages" that present comprehensive compensation arguments. This improves lawyer performance and victim outcomes.
Despite concerns about AI bias and privacy, EvenUp has garnered significant investor interest, closing a funding round in 2025 that was one of the largest in the history of legal AI. Now valued at over $2 billion, it is investing in its team and introducing new techniques and products for personal injury and other legal areas.
