Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of quota carrying B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent record of over performance
- Strong experience selling mid market and enterprise solutions through complex buying processes
- Track record of landing new logos and expanding within accounts
- Strong DACH market knowledge and a network across owners, general contractors and the broader construction ecosystem is strongly preferred
- Ability to lead value based discovery, quantify ROI and manage complex negotiations
- Confident presenting to end users through C level leaders, including procurement and finance stakeholders
- Proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales tools
- Familiarity with MEDDIC or similar methodologies is preferred
- Fluent German and strong English
What the job involves
- DACH is a priority growth market for OpenSpace. We are hiring a Regional Sales Lead to accelerate growth across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- This is a senior player coach role: you will carry a quota, lead from the front on the most strategic opportunities and help set the standard for how we build pipeline, win complex deals and expand accounts in the region
- You will bring regional knowledge, credibility and relationships across the construction ecosystem
- You will also mentor junior sales reps, helping them develop the discipline, deal craft and executive presence required to win at mid market and enterprise level
- Lead regional growth:
- Own revenue targets for DACH and consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual goals
- Build and execute a territory strategy including account segmentation, prioritisation and coverage
- Establish OpenSpace’s regional presence through your network, partners and industry visibility
- Win and expand strategic accounts:
- Manage the full sales cycle from first engagement through close and expansion using an Adopt and Grow approach
- Lead multi stakeholder sales cycles across owners and general contractors, aligning site leadership, operations, IT, finance, executive sponsors and procurement
- Deliver tailored demos, proposals and ROI based business cases tied to measurable outcomes
- Build a repeatable pipeline engine:
- Create pipeline through outbound, referrals, events, partners and strategic networking
- Partner with SDR and Marketing to run regional campaigns, events and account based motions
- Develop relationships with key influencers in the ecosystem including consultants and technology partners
- Player coach and team multiplier:
- Mentor junior sales reps through call reviews, deal coaching, territory planning and close strategy
- Raise the bar on qualification discipline, deal hygiene and executive engagement
- Share market insights and competitive learnings to improve messaging and go to market execution in DACH
- Operate with rigor:
- Maintain accurate Salesforce reporting, forecasting and pipeline management
- Provide visibility on deal health, next steps and gaps
- Travel across DACH based on customer needs and priority opportunities
Our take
360 photos and virtual tours are nothing new. Popularly used to enhance estate agent listings, or create tours of attractions, tools such as Kuula, Panoskin, and Matterport have captured that market. But OpenSpace is applying similar technologies to another industry sector - construction.
With a simple store-bought camera attached to a hard hat, a site walk-through creates a virtual 3D replica of any space. This detailed capture, reminiscent of Google Street View, eliminates the need for site visits, saving time and also reducing risks of visitors to building sites.
Other 360 virtual tour companies will probably offer their services to construction in the future, but OpenSpace hopes to keep the lead with its superior processing speed. (Its approach creates results in just fifteen minutes as opposed to the hours or days of other systems.) It is also well-funded, so can get on with scaling the business and developing additional AI-powered technologies to keep its value up.
