Who you are
- To succeed in this role, you will have 10+ years of Tech B2B marketing experience, including Brand, Lead Gen and E-commerce
- You will be both creative and analytical, accustomed to driving measurable results, and innovating to provide CG prospects and customers with an amazing experience
- 10 or more years of Tech B2B marketing experience, including brand , lead gen, and e-commerce
- Proven track-record meeting and exceeding revenue targets and performance driven KPIs. Ability to pivot and change course as necessary to capitalize on market opportunities
- A strong knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and experience working with LinkedIn, Google, Facebook and DSPs
- Demonstrated track record of collaborating with internal/external stakeholders, leading discussions across multiple teams and driving solution based outcomes in a timely manner
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills necessary. Comfortable working financial targets and business KPIs
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, A postgraduate degree and/or record of academic achievement is also desirable
- First class communication skills, able to present, negotiate and influence at C-level
- Strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills; ability to think laterally and explore creative solutions in an entrepreneurial company
- Appetite and enthusiasm for working as part of a Series E company that is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and support each other
- Proactive bias to action, comfortable being empowered to champion issues to drive change and achieve the desired results
- Ability to build rapport and engagement with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Ability to deal with ambiguity while developing and executing strategic next steps to move the sales process forward
What the job involves
- As Associate Director, Digital Marketing organization, you will own developing and delivering marketing campaigns to drive measurable business outcomes for Cover Genius across the full marketing funnel from awareness through lead generation and/or sale
- As Associated Director of Digital Marketing, you will work to identify and drive growth opportunities at a target ROI for Cover Genius
- Regular collaboration across all functional areas including but not limited to partnerships, partner services, solution design, technology, insurance services, integration, and legal will be key to helping you drive valuable business outcomes
- Build and lead a high performing digital marketing organization that drives measurable business results, delivers an incredible prospect and customer experience, and attracts, develops, and inspires world-class marketing professionals
- Develop, deliver and continuously improve marketing messaging and placement to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales
- Work with the Strategic Partnerships and Partner Services to identify, develop, structure and hand off complex partnership deals that deliver enduring value to the business
- Maintain partner and prospect information in HubSpot CRM, ensuring all Sales Activities, Deal Metrics, Company and Contact records are up to date and accurate
- Develop strategic business plans outlining prospect targeting overall positioning, brand messaging and placement, performance metrics, and marketing CRM and data strategy
- Contribute to the development, implementation and execution during all stages of the sales and marketing processes including brand and performance marketing, product design, sales roadmap and strategic discussions

Insurance plans and warranties are staples of a successful digital company, but setting them up is challenging. Businesses must compare and write contracts with insurance providers which require the expensive assistance of legal and financial teams, Add to this the cost of web designers who can embed the service online, and insurance and warranties quickly become unaffordable to smaller businesses.
Cover Genius provides end-to-end APIs called XCover and XClaim for embedding insurance and warranty plans onto online stores, preventing the business from having to compare, arrange and deploy insurance plans themselves. The company's policies are for any business, can be translated into over 40 languages, and are designed to be read easily without unnecessary jargon.
Whilst other insurtech companies offer similar services to Cover Genius, the company has uniquely focused on ensuring its plans are easily readable, translatable, and dynamically priced based on personal requirements. Although the company initially aimed to facilitate insurance and warranty plans for smaller businesses, it also partners with large enterprises such as Ryanair, Amazon, and eBay. In 2024 it secured impressive Series E funding off the back of a year where it achieved 107% year-on-year growth.
