- 1+ years of sales experience preferably in SaaS or tech
- Natural curiosity, you love to learn and problem-solve
- Experience with high-volume cold calling
- Exceptional written/ verbal communication skills
- Experience utilizing Salesforce and Salesloft (or other) to manage accounts effectively
- Ability to handle a large number of accounts and manage multiple products concurrently
- Performance-driven and highly motivated to achieve and exceed targets
- Energetic and outgoing personality, able to engage prospects and build rapport easily
- Proven track record of success in transactional sales

What the job involves
- As a Sales Development Representative at VendorPM, you will be responsible for contacting vendor leads assigned to you across Canada and the US, and converting them into sales to achieve weekly sales quotas
- Your role will involve expanding our vendor client base by promoting our exclusive platform that services commercial vendors serving various sectors such as commercial, retail, industrial, and residential property management firms
- Conducting sales calls to educate potential clients about our offerings
- Utilizing Salesforce for record-keeping of prospect accounts and for logging all activity and information on prospects and companies
- Manage relationships with existing and potential clients
- Guide clients through the sales cycle, from initial contact to close
- Organize and track your sales pipeline to meet team targets
- Adapt sales strategies based on market trends and feedback
- Offer tailored advice and solutions to prospects and clients
- Attend industry events to expand our client base

Property managers must juggle the planning, sourcing, procurement, and management of building services and vendors in order to keep their business running smoothly. However, doing this whilst maintaining compliance can be a particular challenge when so many building services are required and communication occurs across many different e-mail threads and mediums.
VendorPM provides an all-in-one marketplace for property managers to connect with building services and vendors, allowing them to plan services, source & procure them, and manage contracts & compliance within the same platform. The company provides its services to over 100 property management firms and over 30,000 building service vendors, helping both parties to manage their business relationships efficiently and without friction.
Whilst property management firms and building service vendors can already contact each other, and do so compliantly, VendorPM presents a unique all-in-one solution to make this process simpler. Having raised funding in 2022, the company is investing its capital into product innovation, talent acquisition, and expansion plans across the United States.
