Senior Full Stack Engineer, Lyfta

• 3+ years experience with Ruby on Rails development
• PostgreSQL or similar SQL database experience
• Experience building interactive web applications using modern Javascript frameworks, particularly React
• Solid unit, integration and front end automated testing experience
• Experience working closely with UI and UX colleagues
• A strong command of fundamental algorithms and data structures
• A passion for software engineering, and for creating what doesn’t exist
• Know how to make the tradeoffs required to ship without compromising quality
• Ability to work in an agile and pragmatic way
• Ability to prioritise workload with justification and to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage a number of stakeholders and communicate effectively with non-technical colleagues

Desirable

• You will work side-by-side with UX designers, creative technologists and product management to craft our teacher and student-facing applications. Part of being on this team is a love for building a product you’re proud to share with your friends and family
