Role
Who you are
- 5+ years experience of Product Management. Or 3+ years of PM with prior experience in a software development role
- Technical background sufficient to manage a highly technical product and speak to developers
- Experience managing a platform product with developer customers
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Demonstrated grasp of issues across technical and strategic levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- New product launch and product life cycle management experience
- Proven experience working cross functionally with engineering, business development, and marketing
Desirable
- Professional software development experience
- Crypto/Web 3 experience in personal or professional life. Demonstrated interest in blockchain technology and smart contracts
- Have previous experience at a fast-paced, high growth stage internet/software company
What the job involves
- Develop strategic goals and growth objectives for the Agoric Platform in conjunction with the product team
- Specify development work to achieve our goals and take lead in defining the roadmaps and making tradeoff decisions
- Coordinate development with third party chains, organizations, and technical partners
- Deeply understand the web3/crypto developer mindset through to the end user and represent that voice inside the company
- Effectively communicate with the Agoric community through Discord, Telegram, Slack, and live conferences
Our take
Web3 is full of potential but it can also get messy, fast. With so many blockchains like Ethereum, Cosmos, and Bitcoin operating separately, even basic tasks like moving money across chains can be a hassle. And because of this, users are facing confusing steps, waiting long times, and overall having a poor experience.
Agoric is fixing that by making blockchains work together. It gives developers easy tools (like JavaScript) to build apps that connect across chains in just one click. That means a simpler, more user-friendly crypto experience.
The company is making big moves too, having recently brought native Bitcoin into Cosmos, no wrapping needed and its made cross-chain staking a one-click action. With strong community governance and smart developer tools, Agoric is shaping a smoother future for Web3.
