Who you are
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field, or two to years of relevant experience
- Experience of leading and growing an Engineering team, cultivating a collaborative and inclusive working environment
- Experience of conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback for your team
- Experience working cross functionally, defining and executing technical roadmaps
- Experience of working across multiple projects, overseeing the overall development lifecycle
- Experience of continuously building and enhancing engineering processes and methodologies
- A passion for innovation and identifying emerging technologies
- Experience of Agile/Scrum
- Knowledge of healthcare data and related standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus

- Team Leadership - Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of talented engineers, providing them with guidance, support, and opportunities for growth. Creating a collaborative and inclusive environment where team members can excel and feel motivated to contribute their best
- Technical Vision - Collaborating with Engineering leadership and other stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap. Driving innovation, identifying emerging technologies, and ensuring the team's adherence to best engineering practices
- Project Management - Overseeing the end-to-end development lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and are meeting quality standards. Tracking project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating updates to stakeholders
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Working closely with Product Management, Design, and QA teams to align engineering efforts with product requirements and business goals. Fostering effective communication and cooperation between departments
- Process Improvement - Continuously enhancing engineering processes and methodologies to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall product quality. Implementing Agile/Scrum methodologies as appropriate
- Performance Evaluation - Establishing performance metrics and KPIs for the engineering team. Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to help team members grow in their roles
- Recruitment - Participating in the hiring process to attract top engineering talent. Conducting interviews and contributing to the selection of qualified candidates
Our take
Around half of all US Medicare beneficiaries are on at least five different medications. This becomes complex both for the patient to manage and for physicians to track and adjust. In fact, over 250,000 deaths annually are the result of poor drug therapy and management, and by some reports, this racks up healthcare costs of well over $500 billion.
Cureatr’s premise is to plug the gaps in the current medication management process for healthcare providers and patients alike. Its services and platforms allow physicians to pool all relevant patient data for more informed prescription and discharge decisions, and to continuously monitor and reach out to patients at any stage in their medication period. This is designed to more effectively catch prescription or management errors that otherwise lead to patient re-admissions.
The company has realized, however, that its true value can prove to be a shifting one. The Cureatr remit covers medication reconciliation, medication non-adherence, unnecessary polypharmacy, and medication management, but the company has broadened out its sales pitch to more broadly address larger issues its platform can solve. Its recent acquisition of SinfoníaRx will allow it to futher scale its services and solidify its leading position in the telepharmacy sector.
