Who you are
- Requires Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related and 2 years experience
- 2 years must include experience with the following: (1) Building, launching, and landing software products; (2) Building modern cloud-based applications; (3) Java programming language; (4) Using Web development language including JavaScript; and (5) With at least one of the following: MySQL, Postgres, Redis, or AWS Redshift
- 2 years must also include experience with at least one of the following: (1) Building HIPAA compliant healthcare software, (2) Developing software for, and powered by, large datasets, (3) low-latency Web apps, (4) telephony or healthcare systems, (5) AWS, GCP or Azure, (6) ElasticSearch, or (7) Agile development methodologies
- Position requires university coursework involving one of the following, OR 1 year of experience involving one of the following: Machine Learning or Information Retrieval algorithms
What the job involves
- Involved in the entire software product lifecycle, from concept to landing for the automation of AI healthcare systems
- Design algorithms, write programs to create new software products and solutions
- Create engineering design documentation from software product requirements
- Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs to power Syllable products
- Write unit test cases, debug and help deploying code to production
- Work in a cross-functional team (engineering, product, and operations) to develop new products and features
- Collaborate with other engineers and contribute across multiple technical projects
- Develop engineering design specifications and documents based on our customer’s product requirements
- Code, test and deploy programs, applications and Cloud-based services
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software
- Collect, compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance and propose future enhancements
- Perform code reviews and share knowledge with team members
- Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to deliver best-of-breed solutions to customers
- Participate in pager duty rotation to respond to system alerts when on call. Utilize AWS, GCP or Azure; Agile; JavaScript; MySQL, Postgres, Redis, or AWS Redshift; ElasticSearch
