5+ years of consultative sales experience

What the job involves

Block is seeking an experienced, consultative sales leader to join our team as a Senior Project Planner
This is a full-cycle sales role
You will own the customer journey from initial qualification through signed construction agreement, guiding property owners through one of the largest financial and emotional investments they will make
As a Senior Project Planner, you act as a trusted advisor, aligning scope, budget, and contractor fit, while driving urgency and confidence to close high-value renovation projects
Manage a robust inbound pipeline from initial consultation through signed agreement
Guide customers through renovation planning, contractor matching, and proposal review
Facilitate bid leveling, scope alignment, and negotiation conversations
Consistently exceed ambitious quarterly revenue targets
Understand each property owner’s goals, budget, timeline, and risk tolerance
Provide consultative guidance on scope, pricing tradeoffs, and contractor fit
Navigate objections related to trust, cost, and renovation complexity
Deliver a high-touch, confidence-building experience throughout the sales process
Partner closely with Block’s contractor network to ensure strong proposals and project viability
Strategically prioritize pipeline to maximize AOV and conversion
Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene in Salesforce
Contribute insights to improve sales strategy and customer experience
