What the job involves

We are seeking a Corporate Account Executive to join our team!
Prospecting and driving sales at named and territory accounts in an assigned sales region and attaining quarterly and annual quotas. Our AEs carry a $800K-$1.2M quota, depending on level, with uncapped accelerators
Engage and provide sales consulting to Executives and senior business leaders to influence investment in the Rescale technology. We deeply educate our Account Executives in this role so that they can have technical conversations with all customer points of contact
Develop and coordinate strategic territory analysis to identify, qualify, and close opportunities. Although we have a well-developed lead generation engine, our AEs create 60% of their own pipeline in this role
Coordinate activities with other organizations within the company to create territory growth. Entrepreneurial self-starters flourish here
Qualify and close new business from marketing leads, establishing a significant number of new logo customers. Our AEs will drive 50 - 75% of their quota in new logo customer wins
Provide sales support to existing customers as needed while driving renewal business and new incremental business. Our AEs will drive 25 - 50% of their quota through expansion of existing accounts
Provide accurate forecasts regularly, as well as other information as required. You will forecast weekly your commit, most likely, best case, and pipeline numbers to provide transparency of your regional activities

Migrating on-premises infrastructure to a hybrid or fully cloud-based setup is a complex process that requires network understanding, resources, and time. Whilst some companies aid in making this switch simpler, the challenges of migrating high-performance computing (HPC) systems to the cloud are significantly more complex and remain unaided.

Rescale provides sets of HPC resources to help customers optimise their applications for maximum performance within hybrid or fully cloud-based infrastructures. This is achieved through the application of full-stack automation to minimise the complexity of migration, fine-tuning the infrastructure to optimise the performance of the specific application.

Various startups are tackling infrastructure migration for small businesses and enterprises to support industry-wide moves to cloud computing. Rescale presents itself as a unique competitor by focusing on aiding companies that require HPC for industries such as engineering, aerospace, and scientific research. Impressive 2025 funding will be used to accelerate the development of Rescale's digital engineering platform, and comes at a time when more companies are investing in technology that quickens their products' time to market.
