Role

Who you are

  • You're a strategic thinker with the ability to design and execute on sales plans
  • Proven ability in identifying and solving business problems with customers
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organisation and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships at all stakeholder levels
  • Self-motivated to maintain regular contact and partnership with prospects and internal teams
  • Analytically strong, and able to build and execute strategy around key prospects with a data-informed and outcome-focused mindset
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. We operate in a dynamic way which can mean priorities and pace can change accordingly
  • Willingness to travel for regular customer meetings and events when scheduled
  • Understanding of the retail and LP landscape, and if you don’t, you’re interested in learning all about it
  • We are looking for people who demonstrate a strong alignment to our Guiding Principles

What the job involves

  • As our Senior Account Executive, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth in this exciting market where we are revolutionizing how retailers fight crime with our cutting-edge SaaS platform
  • Working closely with our VP of Sales – North America, and collaborating with our Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams, you’ll take ownership of building strong relationships with retail and loss prevention leaders across the industry,
  • Develop and execute winning strategies to expand our presence in the North American retail market
  • Build meaningful partnerships with senior retail executives and Asset Protection and Loss Prevention leaders, clearly articulating and demonstrating the value and return on investment (ROI)
  • Manage the full sales process from identifying new opportunities and prospecting, through deal closure and post-sale success, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Lead presentations, demos, and discussions that articulate the value of our platform in a way that resonates with decision-makers
  • Be an industry advocate, representing Auror at key events and shaping the way the retail sector approaches crime prevention
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships

Our take

Across the globe, profit-motivated and organised crime costs trillions of dollars each year, with retail theft costing the world over $100B annually. However, shoplifting has become an “accepted” business cost, often unreported and unsolved, that businesses factor theft costs into their budgets and forecasts. Auror’s platform for retailers is focused on preventing crime, reducing loss, and making stores safer.

The company uses data visibility technology for fast and easy reporting of crime, providing crimefighters with the intelligence they need to not only solve more crime, but also provides insights as to how to prevent future shoplifting. Connected with over 2,000 law enforcement agencies, it drives a 50% improvement in debt recovery rates and resolves cases that would ordinarily never be investigated within two weeks.

The company has expanded globally, with offices in New Zealand, Australia, the USA, and the UK, and works with some of the largest retailers in these countries, including Walmart, Woolworths, and Coles. Auror’s successful expansions and proven product have it well set to be at the centre of greatly reducing retail theft across the globe.
