Who you are
- Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven track record of designing and shipping successful digital products in new and innovative spaces
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in UX/UI design principles and best practices
- Proficiency with design tools including Figma
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities

What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Design Manager to lead our design team and drive the evolution of our user experience
- In this role, you will oversee the design and implementation of innovative solutions that align with our mission to empower artists and creatives
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, research, and leadership, to deliver intuitive and engaging products that delight our users
- Vision & Execution:
- Define product vision and roadmap with product, research and engineering
- Translate business objectives and user needs into compelling solutions
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final delivery
- Design Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment
- Establish and refine design processes to enhance efficiency and quality across projects
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure consistency across all products
- Process Improvement:
- Implement a robust design review process that incorporates cross-functional feedback
- Integrate user research and testing into the design workflow to inform decisions
- Enhance collaboration between design, engineering, and research teams to streamline project execution
- Project Management:
- Plan and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively
- Ensure timely delivery of design assets that meet high-quality standards
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Team Development:
- Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating professional growth and skill development
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the design team
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new design team members to build a strong, diverse team
