Who you are
- SentinelOne is seeking a security pre-sales engineer with expertise in the “endpoint” space focused on prevention, EDR and Threat Hunting targeting Commercial accounts
- We need a self-starter who excels in a high-paced environment and thrives on pitching a revolutionary technology to executives and security practitioners
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in a presales role in cybersecurity, with endpoint security awareness
- Curiosity to achieve mastery of all SentinelOne technologies
- Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies
- Use concise written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations and conversations with both executives and technical audiences
- Must have demonstrable experience successfully selling to the mid-size / commercial markets
- Provide 1st-level technical support throughout the sales cycle
- Should have basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, notable malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques
- Team focused approach and positive attitude are a must
- Travel up to 50% possible
- Experience working in the field of computer forensics, security architect, penetration/red teamer, or incident responder a plus
- Fluent English and Dutch are a requirement for this role
What the job involves
- As a Commercial Solution Engineer (Sales Engineer) you will work with prospects and customers aligning their goals and requirements with the SentinelOne offerings
- This individual will play an instrumental role in accelerating our sales initiatives
- Work with prospects and customers to align their goals and requirements with SentinelOne offerings.Illustrate SentinelOne's value to prospective customers, including C-level executives, security engineers, IT operations, DevOps, and engineering professionals
- Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with both executives and technical audiences
- Successfully pitch revolutionary technology to various stakeholders
- Support sales teams by aligning SentinelOne offerings to prospects' and customers' requirements
- Drive direction and strategy of demonstrations and proof-of-concept efforts
- Foster strong, productive relationships with prospects, customers, and within the SentinelOne team
- Work collaboratively with sales teams and other departments to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
- Stay updated on industry competitors, forums, and implement similar protections
- You will work on real-world problems and make an impact by protecting our customers from cyber threats
- You will be joining a cutting-edge project and will be able to influence the architecture, design, and structure of our core platform. You will tackle extraordinary challenges and work with the very BEST in the industry

Cybercriminals are now leveraging the power of automation to make the current threat landscape too advanced for a lot of legacy antivirus software. SentinelOne is a cybersecurity company that matches this automation with machine learning-focused software designed to help businesses defend against online attacks.
The company expanded the scope of its business from the endpoint security market to three markets valued at a combined $30 billion, including the corporate endpoint security and IT operations management markets. This gives SentinelOne a bigger potential customer base, although it also puts them in direct competition with more focused cybersecurity companies, in addition to its biggest competitor, CrowdStrike.
When the company went public in 2021, it made financial headlines as the highest-valued cybersecurity IPO ever, which gave SentinelOne a market capitalisation of $10 billion. However, it's since fallen to around $ 4 billion. It has subsequently launched S Ventures, a $100M fund, through which SentinelOne invests in cybersecurity startups and has expanded its partnership with major tax firm KPMG to accelerate cyber investigations and responses to threats.
