Who you are
- Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of product management experience, a strong technical foundation, and a passion for building exceptional consumer-facing products
- Proven ability to drive impact on key product metrics through structured product thinking
- Experience designing, launching, and iterating on experiments that move the needle on growth or engagement
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to inform product decisions
- Ability to balance business needs, user needs, and technical constraints in decision-making
- Skilled at gathering and translating stakeholder and user feedback into actionable requirements
- Empathy for users and attention to delivering a high-quality, cohesive product experience
- Solid technical understanding and ability to work closely with engineers on implementation
- Love creating amazing consumer products
- 3+ years of experience in product management with a proven record of driving high-impact initiatives
- Experience working on consumer-facing products
- Metrics-driven mindset, with a strong track record of using data to guide decisions, prioritize work, and measure impact
- Proven ability to lead projects focused on raising the bar for Craft and Quality, improving UX in core experiences like casting and playback
- Experience with Personalization strategies that make digital experiences feel smarter and more relevant to individual users
- Experience designing and running A/B tests and experiments to optimize user flows, drive growth, and validate hypotheses at scale
- Familiarity with monetization or upgrade flows, including surfacing value at key moments to improve conversion to higher-tier plans
- Bachelor’s degree (degrees in engineering / CS is a major plus.)
- Knowledge and passion for education, online experiences, and brand
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead key initiatives that improve critical business metrics through experimentation, user insights, and collaboration
- In this role, you'll take ownership of meaningful projects and work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics to execute product work across acquisition, activation, retention, and referrals
- Own product initiatives contributing to growth, activation, retention, and referrals
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define roadmaps, priorities, and success metrics
- Write detailed product specs, define edge cases, and support agile development workflows
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and support teams to ensure a smooth go-to-market
- Monitor product performance, run A/B tests, and use insights to iterate and improve
- Maintain high standards for product quality, user experience, and brand alignment

MasterClass is a streaming platform that offers its members the chance to learn skills and theory directly from the best in the business, all with celebrity status. For example, learning to cook with Gordon Ramsay, mastering tennis techniques with Serena Williams, and perfecting songwriting with Alicia Keys.
The streaming platform provides more than 100 classes across nine categories including sport, wellness, music, food, and business. Each class is made up of around 20 short video lessons, accompanied by a workbook and a members’ community.
With a $2.5 billion valuation and no shortage of funding, MasterClass is seen as a leader in the edtech market and differentiates itself from fierce competitors Udacity and Udemy by blurring the line between education and entertainment.
