Who you are

Background in business management and strategy. This includes a general understanding of business operations and an interest in the financial industry
Relevant third level qualification in risk, economics or actuarial

What the job involves

We're looking for an enthusiastic Risk Intern to join our growing team! This is your chance to work closely with our Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and gain invaluable experience in the cutting-edge intersection of insurance and technology
Contribute to the development of the Risk Function and to fulfil the activities of the risk management framework schedule
Ensure that all policies, processes, and procedures are documented, up to date and operating effectively
Support identifying, analysing, evaluating, treating and reporting risks
Perform root cause analysis and identify gaps and trends
Supporting assurance initiatives and risk projects
Review and challenge of quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessments
Ongoing monitoring risk metrics: e.g. Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Risk Appetite (RAS)
Production of high quality reports
Work closely with Business Teams
Promote a strong risk culture
Support development and coordination of training as required
