Who you are
- The position requires strong technical skills such as actively engaging in configuration and programming in the data environment, querying data via SQL from the data lake, automating data processes, deep dive analysis in Python and adjusting ETL tasks
- Educated to Degree Level or higher in an analytical discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science or Economics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, always-on, constantly-changing startup environment
- Excellent technical skills including strong knowledge in SQL, Tableau and python
- Enthusiastic, outgoing and personable - you have the ability to think on your feet, work independently and also proactively with others to find solutions to issues
- You understand how to engage and influence decision makers and have excellent communication skills
- Driven - you are motivated to find solutions to problems and constantly go the extra mile
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and spoken English
What the job involves
- As a Senior Operations Analyst (m/f/d) you will work on multiple projects across the EU countries that we operate in, in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- You will create queries to answer operational and business questions from the central and local operations teams, and will communicate results in a clear and impactful manner
- Focusing on analysing and presenting recommendations/process changes/new initiatives to management using insights derived from operational data
- You will also be developing monitoring tools to measure performance and help the business achieve its objectives

The service operates in over 180 cities across nine countries and has pickups points at 50 airports. Taxis arrive in an average of four minutes, and the whole experience is cashless, letting users travel like locals.
Recently, the company was acquired by Lyft in an impressive cross-marekt usage, the Lyft app was opened 4.6M times in Freenow's marekt since earl 2024, while Freenow was used 1.2M times in Lyft's territory. This merger could double Lyft's addressable market to over 300B trips per year. Freenow CEO Thomas Zimmermann and his team will continues leading operations across their nine countries and for users, this means the platform should get even better as both companies integrate their technologies and strengths to serve customers worldwide.
