Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have experience selling SaaS, cloud-based solutions, or enterprise software to mid-market and enterprise clients
- This is a high-paced role that requires personality, exceptional soft skills and real initiative for building your own voice, pipeline, and client relationships
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS Sales as Account Executive
- Strong sales experience, track record and references
- Solid understanding of customer experience, collaboration, contact center and chat/chatbot technologies
- Specific vertical experience in insurance and financial services is a plus
- Knowledge of the global tech landscape, solutions and go-to-markets
- You are a highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual who loves to work in a diverse and international team
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team
- This role will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities for Surfly
- We’re looking for experienced SaaS sales reps to become a Mid-Market Account Executive at Surfly
- A successful Account Executive at Surfly is a self-starter, can recognize real opportunities and take the initiative to turn leads into long-lasting partnerships
- This role is based in Amsterdam and will be part of a team focused on growing Surfly’s global footprint
- The Sales team works closely with Marketing, Customer Success and Sales Engineering, and we expect this person to be a strong communicator both internally and externally, and have a mentality of getting. things. done
- Prospect your own leads, build a well-qualified pipeline of opportunities and close deals to achieve your quota
- Engage with prospects by learning about their challenges, identifying use cases and performing demos
- Manage multiple priorities and a pipeline of deals simultaneously
- Seamlessly and effectively work with different teams (operations, finance, legal, customer success) to close deals
- Contribute to building best practices for the overall Sales team and Surfly - we are one team with one mission
- Strong and professional social selling on LinkedIn
- Ensure a solid handover to Customer Success and identify up-selling opportunities where relevant
- Maintain operational and CRM excellence on a weekly basis for accurate forecasting
Our take
Customer service is one of the most frustrating costs borne by insurers and banks selling complex products. Surfly helps agents deal with requests through their co-browsing software allowing them to take over a customer’s web-session.
Unlike other co-browsing and video call customer service products, Surfly allows you to co-browse the full web without needing to change or modify any code on any website or force you to a virtual browser. Over 3.000 organizations use the platform to collaborate with users, as well as utilizing it to demo products to prospective clients.
The companies biggest challenge is competing in a saturated market of sticky customer service software. Companies may be reticent to retrain agents used to their workflows on another platform, but with good funding at its back Surfly certainly has a swinging chance.
