Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, Okta

• You have previous experience using Node.js (JavaScript or Typescript) and creating and maintaining public APIs
• You have worked on full-stack apps in the past - you don’t need to be an expert but a good part of our work is on the frontend as well
• You like working on systems that are highly-reliable, maintainable and scalable
• You have experience and an eye for good engineering practices and testing, and love to share them
• You work autonomously but know when to seek help from your team members
• You are a good mentor and communicator, and bring the rest of your team along for the journey
• You have experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS and Azure preferred)

Desirable

• Collaborate with engineers both inside and outside the team to design and deliver powerful new functionality that allows our SaaS customers to empower their customers to configure and manage the users, login and permissions themselves
• Drive technical improvements to our codebase and architecture
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on sound engineering practices
• Review customer interview feedback with Product
