Who you are

  • Notable experience in marketing/advertising/digital, with specific acumen across search, data, measurement and attribution
  • Strong Luxury industry relationships and experience working with executive level business and marketing leaders within client and agency organizations
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals
  • Ability to translate partner value across various levels, such as executive, operational, creative, media, and analytics teams
  • Strong team player and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high levels of operational rigor, digital acumen, and business excellence

What the job involves

  • As a Senior Client Partner, you’ll develop and grow relationships with client & agency partners, helping them utilize Pinterest to solve business challenges, and drive meaningful results
  • You'll collaborate on major initiatives and see them through to success, while being the primary contact for our partners at the highest level
  • Build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with large customers & agencies
  • Lead across many internal functions to create partner strategies that drive meaningful business results
  • Leverage data, insights, and measurement to build innovative marketing communication plans that reach partner audience targets and achieve partner ROI goals & objectives
  • Be an internal advocate for partners by working with product and engineering teams to respond to partner needs and feedback
  • Manage a book of direct advertisers and their partners’ ecosystem (e.g media agencies)
  • Educate, pitch, generate pipeline of campaign opportunities, and grow revenue for a given book of business in line with objectives / Pinterest priorities

Pinterest exists to display these moments visually, as a kind of digital pinboard allowing users to save and share digital images which have inspired them.

Pinterest's emphasis on visual discovery has differentiated it from competitors and created a more positive and fulfilling experience for its users. Pinterest in many ways provides a respite from the ceaseless negativity that plagues social media such as Facebook and Twitter, and this is perhaps responsible for its userbase expanding to 450 million users in 2022, driven by uptake mostly outside of North America.

Pinterest has not been immune to woes affecting the global tech sector and made about 5% of its workforce redundant at the end of 2022 and the start of 2023. Having restructured to face a challenging climate, it is well-positioned to resume its growth, which has increased consistently year on year. Its immediate goals are to continue to grow its user base and expand the uptake of its short video product, which it aims to monetize.
