Role
Who you are
- Whilst previous experience isn’t essential for this role, it’s essential that you are highly organised and diligent with an excellent ability to grasp new technical concepts and skills
- The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to build professional relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, dynamic, with a can-do attitude and the ability to be flexible as required
- Strong attention to detail, good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple different matters and keep track of critical deadlines
- A keen interest in business / company law
- Basic knowledge of company law highly regarded, but not essential
- A levels or a degree in a relevant field would be highly regarded, but not essential
What the job involves
- Reporting to the Assistant Company Secretary, the Company Secretarial Administrator will assist the wider Company Secretariat Team with corporate calendar management, collation & distribution of meeting packs for the Group’s UK and overseas entity boards and committees, and maintenance of internal corporate records and statutory filings
- The Company Secretarial Administrator will support the organisation in achieving governance best practice and ensuring the governance structure is appropriately embedded and maintained throughout the Group
- Maintain the Group’s corporate calendar, including coordination & scheduling of board and committee meetings, and forward-planning for future years
- This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure across Company Secretarial practices, whilst taking responsibility for various administrative process within a supportive and collaborative team
- Assisting with meeting logistics including meeting room preparation
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business and externally
- Collate and quality check board and committee meeting papers and ensure timely distribution via Diligent Boards
- Ensure all statutory filings in the UK and overseas are completed and up-to-date corporate registers and records are maintained
- Maintain company and individual information on Diligent Entities
- Monitor the Company Secretariat inbox
- Assist the wider business in completing KYC checks
- Provide general administrative support to the Company Secretariat team as required
