Junior AI Engineer, CENTURY Tech

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related hard science discipline
• Demonstrable ML/AI experience — academic, personal projects, or ideally deployed industry models
• Strong Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, version control, CI/CD)
• Proficiency with the core ML stack: NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and DL PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Experience designing and running rigorous evaluations and ablations
• Data handling skills with SQL and at least one modern data store
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Writes clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Good software engineering principles

Desirable

• As an AI Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of research and engineering to bring cutting-edge machine learning into production. You’ll translate ideas into reliable, scalable systems, working in a small cross-functional team that includes researchers, data specialists, and software engineers
• You’ll report to the Head of Machine Learning and be a part of end-to-end ML initiatives — from scoping and data pipelines to modeling, deployment, and monitoring
• Deliver applied ML/AI solutions from data to deployment — with scientific rigor and tangible product impact
