Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of development experience in a strongly typed language (Typescript, Java, .NET, PHP). We operate in Go and React, and believe a seasoned engineer with strong fundamentals can adapt quickly
- Proven ability to take initiative, solve complex problems, and deliver in ambiguous environments
- Strong knowledge of APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Skilled at breaking down complex problems into practical, actionable solutions
- Strong engineering skills with an analytical mindset and product awareness, making decisions that deliver the greatest impact
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English is a must

- We are looking for Senior Software Engineers to act as trusted technical leaders, driving decisions that shape our teams, product, and business forward
- You will work with a high degree of autonomy, turning high-level goals into technical plans, leading the design and execution of complex systems, and mentoring junior engineers to raise the bar across the team

- Design and develop features that deliver real-world value

- Lead design and architecture discussions with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, feedback, and guidance
- Contribute to team culture by sharing knowledge and raising engineering standards
- Advocate for clarity when the “why” is unclear, keeping the team focused on the most valuable problems
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

It is this suitability for many industries that makes Eye Security stand out, and it has attracted substantial investment from the likes of JP Morgan. Interestingly, this will be used to consolidate its presence in European markets, rather than expanding into the likes of North America - where it would likely meet fierce competition from native companies.
