- Around 2 years’ experience in a partnerships, operations or community role
- Experience in account management, ideally managing partner or client relationships
- Experience delivering events end to end
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a strong eye for tone and detail
- Outstanding customer service instincts and a willingness to go the extra mile for members and partners
- An efficient operator who balances quality work with the need to move quickly
- Confident using - or quickly learning - tools like Google Workspace, email management systems and Slack

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a natural connector to help grow The 93% Club in the North West - managing our partnerships, events and our community on the ground, and making the North West feel like home for state-educated talent
- We’re the UK’s first, largest and fastest-growing network for state-educated people. Think of us as the alumni network state schoolers never got - community, connections, opportunities and a louder collective voice
- We’re a social enterprise on a mission to make state school pride the norm, not the exception. With 70+ student clubs nationwide, a thriving professionals’ network and a roster of top graduate employers, we help our members connect, upskill, and pay it forward. 100% of our profits go straight back into the mission
- And we’re only just getting started
- We’ve just launched our first regional hub, and we’re looking for a superstar Membership Manager to run our partnership accounts, deliver a premium experience for their people, and build our Manchester community from there
- This is a hands-on role for someone proactive, empathetic and excited to roll up their sleeves across operations, partnerships and events. You’ll work alongside brands that genuinely care about social mobility, deepen your experience in community and partnerships, and make sure our growing North West community feels right at home

- Manage relationships with our regional partners as their primary point of contact — proactively nurturing, growing and renewing them
- Lead partner engagement strategies, finding new ways to deepen relationships and drive renewal
- Support new partnerships across the North West, from first conversation through to delivery
- Engage and manage members from partner organisations, tracking their engagement
- Plan and deliver in-person events across the region, from member roundtables to flagship moments - scoping, facilitation and follow-up
- Build the kind of events that turn a room of strangers into a community
- Write and manage regional comms, tracking performance and optimising engagement
- Create content and storytelling that draws on our genuine North West identity
- Be a friendly, approachable voice for the region online — and keep partners in the loop on what we’re doing and how it’s going
- Support the day-to-day running of our North West hub, supporting the Head of North West with ad-hoc requests and logistics
- Track activity and engagement across the region, monitoring performance against KPIs and spotting trends and opportunities

Our take
Talent in Britain has never been an issue, but access has, and that's why the 93% club exists. Despite signs of progress, power and influence still largely sit with the 7% who were privately educated, while many state-educated people face exclusion and pressure to change who they are in order to succeed. The organisation was created to challenge this imbalance, recognising that these experiences are structural problems, not personal shortcomings.
The 93% Club is building a nationwide network for state-educated students and graduates, offering mentoring, career support and a sense of belonging. By recreating the advantages of elite alumni networks without the barriers, it gives members access to guidance and opportunities that are often taken for granted elsewhere. And through research like the Big State School Survey, it also brings visibility and credibility to issues around class and culture that are too often ignored.
At a time when the class divide in the UK is widening rather than shrinking, the 93% Club feels more important than ever. Its impact goes beyond individual success, helping to build workplaces and leadership that are more representative and socially aware. As it grows, the real potential lies not just in opening doors, but in changing what happens once people walk through them.
