Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in a hands-on sales leadership role with a solid set of senior connections within the mobile games industry
- Successful and demonstrable track record of building and managing both local and remote sales teams and exceeding both individual and team sales targets
- Ability to deal with technical products and services and interact with the typical decision makers within mobile game studios and business development teams
- Comfortable with a fast changing industry landscape
- Proven success in delivering results and strong evidence of implementing asales pipelines preferably within the mobile industry
- Sales Tools knowledge: The organization uses Monday.com for it's CRM; however, familiarity with other pipeline and CRM tools is also advantageous
- Experience with mobile SDKs and general technology expertise in the mobile sector is desirable
- Capable of leading a sales team, both in local and remote settings
- Experienced in selling technical services, ideally within the mobile industry
- An established network of contacts and relationships with Flexion's target clientele
- Experience in (cold) lead generation at the C-suite level
- Confident public speaker
- Experienced in developing partner-focused business cases
- Capable of delivering presentations to small and large audiences, both in-person and virtually
What the job involves
- In this hands-on team management role, you will be responsible for scaling the growth and adoption of Flexion’s services, focusing on the world’s top mobile game developers and publishers. You will manage the sales team and sales pipeline. You’ll also be the voice of the customer to our internal teams helping to define our product and operations strategies and roadmaps
- Design, implement and execute a comprehensive sales growth strategy to deliver Flexion’s revenue targets
- Build, nurture and lead the sales team to over achieve their KPI’s
- Establish long-term executive level partnerships with our key customers and prospects
- Work internally to deliver revenue generating solutions for our existing and prospective customers
- Establish internal visibility of the sales pipeline status
Salary benchmarks
Our take
Most mobile games developers deploy their games to Google Play Store or the Apple Store, but they are leaving money on the table. Launching on alternative marketplaces such as Huawei App Gallery, Samsung Galaxy App Store or the Amazon App Store could add up to 10% of a game's lifetime revenue. However, the differing requirements of each of these stores are a hurdle to developers, who often see modifying their games features as a serious barrier to entry. Flexion Mobile exists to fix this, allowing developers to easily launch their games everywhere and reap the benefits.
Flexion is unique in this space, handling set up, maintenance, monetisation and compliance in numerous markets on behalf of their customers. While other firms will do this, Flexion's unique selling point is its automated enabling feature, which automatically optimises features from an app's Google Play version to ensure its compatibility with any other sales channel, a huge time saver for developers.
Flexion is working to develop its product through strategic acquisitions such as its 2022 purchase of Audiencly, allowing it to create new revenue opportunities for its customers. With a customer base which includes huge developers such as Top Games (Evony), Onemt (King's Choice) and Wargaming (World of Tanks), and a track record of generating double-digit revenue boosts for its customers, it is in an excellent position to extend its market lead.
