Who you are

Ideal for candidates currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
A solid understanding of networking concepts, particularly TCP/IP, is also required
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, C++, Python, or Java
Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
Able to work under general supervision and follow established engineering processes and best practices
Some experience with Agile development frameworks and unit testing
Understanding of data analytics, including statistical analysis and data visualization
Having exposure to observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus is a plus
Understanding containerization and virtualization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

What the job involves

Wasabi Technologies is seeking a motivated Co-op student to join our Engineering team from June 2026 through December 2026.
In this role, you will focus on performance and unit testing. Strong object-oriented design (OOD) and object-oriented programming (OOP) skills are essential
You will work closely with our engineering team to help build and support highly reliable, secure, scalable, and innovative applications for Wasabi’s hot cloud storage services
