- Ideally, a roladex of strong relationships with Transportation decision makers at the top accounts Veho is targeting in the DTC cosmetics, apparel, perishables, supplement space (and other key segments)
- Proven track record of sales achievement
- Problem-solving and relationship-building mindset - Enterprise Account Executives at Veho go beyond the execution of a proven sales process by constantly experimenting and problem-solving to drive deal velocity and results
- Experience selling with data-driven, innovative products is a plus - Veho is bringing a completely new solution to the package delivery market
What the job involves
- As a Director, Enterprise Account Executive at Veho, you have the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to Veho’s plans to grow 200% in 2025
- This is a hunter role, focused on strategic acquisition of large, enterprise accounts who choose Veho to become a long-term last-mile delivery provider of theirs
- You will be assigned a list of targets, and are expected to build a strategic plan for how Veho will approach each of them
- You will conduct cold outreach as well as leverage Veho’s referral channels and events to generate net-new opportunities
- You will progress deals from inception to launch
- You will lead pricing proposals, and negotiate Agreements that secure Veho’s volume with the client
- This is a consultative sales role, in which you are expected to learn the operational requirements and needs of the prospective client, and propose a recommendation of Veho service levels, markets, and success metrics for the basis of the partnership
- You will have the support of product marketing, competitive intelligence, and finance in order to win these clients – but assume there are lots of unknowns you may have to be comfortable working through as well
Our take
Over 2M online merchant ship over 165B packages to doorsteps across the United States every year. Every one of those deliveries represents a potential difference between happy customers willing to purchase again and refer friends, and a WISMO ("where is my order?!") catastrophe.
Veho is seeking to turn those deliveries from a risk into an opportunity for online brands. The next-day delivery platform leverages a gig economy workforce and its modern communication platform to create a greatly improved last-mile logistics experience for brands and their customers.
Now that the company has been able to build out an impressive technology platform - think optimized routes and driver-customer communication channels - it is now seeking major geographic expansion.
The company is facing competition from both traditional delivery companies like FedEx as well as newer venture-backed attempts to disrupt the space like Deliverr. However, its already impressive economies of scale and customer experience means it is well positioned to dominate the market in the coming years.
