Who you are

Are you excited by the idea of architecting and managing cloud infrastructure that powers complex web applications and data processing systems? Can you design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using Google Cloud Platform services? And can you do all of this while maintaining operational excellence and reliability? 3+ years of professional experience with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud infrastructure management
Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker containerization, and orchestration at scale
Experience managing and scaling Kafka clusters, Elasticsearch deployments, and MongoDB instances in production environments
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (New relic, Logging, APM solutions)
Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cost optimization in cloud environments
Experience working within cross-functional teams, collaborating with Product Managers, developers, and DevOps engineers
BS/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions in a fast-paced startup environment
Managing and optimizing GCP services
Building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Github actions
Working with development teams to architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions
Monitoring system performance, implementing observability solutions, and ensuring high availability across all services
Analyzing infrastructure needs, suggesting improvements to our cloud architecture with freedom to implement innovative solutions
Implementing and maintaining security best practices to ensure a secure and protected cloud environment, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance frameworks

Although software that measures performance analytics and produces such insights exists, this often requires staff to work in a particular manner, and without incentive, and so is often avoided.
