Role
Who you are
- Background in cybersecurity (exposure management and vulnerability management strongly preferred) with proven experience as a Product Manager (or equivalent) in a SaaS or B2B environment
- Strong writing and communication skills—you can clearly explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product marketing, sales, customer engineering and design
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint planning
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing product discovery and translating insights into actionable requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for building products that solve meaningful problems for security teams
What the job involves
- We are growing the runZero Product team and are looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of our Exposure Management platform
- As a Product Manager, you’ll own the “what” and “why” of what we build—translating customer needs and market opportunities into a clear roadmap that drives impact
- You will collaborate closely with sales, customer engineering, product marketing, and engineering to define and prioritize initiatives, enable customer-facing teams, and ensure we deliver best-in-class products
- This is a highly cross-functional role that requires excellent writing skills, customer empathy, organizational strength, and an ability to translate big-picture strategy into clear, actionable execution
- Manage the product roadmap across multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs
- Conduct customer discovery by joining sales calls, leading feedback sessions, and synthesizing insights into product direction
- Develop content and partner with sales and marketing to drive enablement, messaging, and product positioning that increases adoption and empowers go-to-market success
- Write and refine product requirement tickets for engineering, plan and prioritize sprints, and ensure completed work meets our customers’ needs
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, championing usability, security, and business impact
- Work cross-functionally with leadership and stakeholders to communicate roadmap priorities, progress, and outcomes
- Leverage your security expertise to ensure our products continue to address the most critical exposure management challenges
