Who you are
- You're studying and willing to gain a first experience working in an Start-Up in Internal Operations field
- You have internship agreement from your school
- You're professional, friendly, dynamic, structured, committed to your tasks and have excellent interpersonal skills, you collaborate easily with other team members
- Detail oriented, you are reliable in the quality of your work and respect of deadlines
- Communication: you are able to convey efficiently a message
- Fluent verbal and written English, and communicative French

What the job involves
- Pelico's operations management platform gives factory teams the agility and resilience to quickly respond to any supply chain disruptions, and act fast to mitigate their impact
- With the platform, factory teams align on a single source of truth to anticipate bottlenecks, prioritize corrective actions, speed up cross-functional collaboration, and simulate alternative production and repair scenarios
- In a context of hypergrowth, the objective of this Office Manager internship is to make life easier for our 120 coworkers in Paris working alongside our Office Manager and HR Department
- This role will ensure the smooth running of our office by ensuring good atmosphere and efficient administrative management, while promoting the well-being of our employees and the integration of new arrivals

- Our Office Manager & HR team will be there to guide you every step of the way
- Making sure our offices are pleasant by ordering, putting away and maintaining levels of snacks, drinks, fruit, etc
- Managing stock
- Setting up meeting rooms
- Communicate with our various service providers
- Help organise monthly internal events to strengthen team cohesion (breakfasts, Board Game Nights, Thursday drinks, Yearly Seminar)
- Help organise offsite notes by sending out reminders, creating the necessary documents, and helping with communication on Slack and Notion
- Receive purchases of office supplies and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Ordering, putting away and maintaining levels of snacks, drinks, fruit, etc
- Leveraging existing tools to automate repetitive tasks
- Support Talent Acquisition occasionally (coordination of interviews)
- Prepare welcome kits
- Help organize onboarding sessions
- Update newcomers' calendars
- Be the main contact for answering their queries
- Collect feedback
- Internship duration: 4-6 months
- Start date: 1st July

Our take
Due to a volatile supply chain landscape, fluctuating demands and deepening product complexity, factory operations are becoming increasingly difficult to run smoothly and efficiently, which in turn affects their revenue.
Pelico believes that its factory operations SaaS platform is the answer, particularly for factories which are pivoting from mass production to more discrete models with variable products in smaller volumes. By leveraging data analysis and AI modeling, Pelico is able to foresee bottlenecks such as parts shortages, then provide AI-generated recommendations.
The last few years have seen a growing number of startups enter this space as manufacturers feel the supply chain squeeze. Though it’s a highly competitive market, Pelico has grown quite strongly in Europe. Now having secured major funding, the French startup is aiming to expand further while continuing to develop its product.
