Who you are
- Extensive experience in social media management, ideally in e-commerce or a D2C environment
- Proven expertise in Meta (Instagram, Facebook) and TikTok — you know what works and why
- Experience creating engaging content with a sharp eye for visual storytelling and strong copywriting
- Structured, proactive way of working, with the ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Bonus: Genuine interest in DIY, microcontrollers, or the maker scene
What the job involves
- At SellerX, we are growing our Brand & Marketing team, and now we are looking for a Social Media Manager (x/f/m) to join us!
- In this role, you’ll own and elevate the social media presence of our two flagship DIY & Electronics brands — AZ-Delivery and Wirefy — crafting digital communities that inspire makers and hobbyists across the DACH and US markets. If you're passionate about storytelling, community-building, and turning brands into social-first experiences, this one’s for you
- Develop tailored social strategies for AZ-Delivery (DACH) and Wirefy (US), in close collaboration with the Senior Director
- Plan, create, and publish original content on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Build and manage an active community: reply to comments, DMs, and foster long-term engagement
- Launch and run a brand ambassador program – from research and outreach to coordination and partnerships
- Partner with Content, Email, and Performance Marketing teams to align campaigns across touchpoints
- Track performance, analyze KPIs, and continuously optimize our presence across channels

The eCommerce sector has seen rapid growth in recent years, with Amazon continuing to be a dominant force in the market. SellerX was founded to capitalize on this trend by acquiring and building online retailers that trade on Amazon. The company targets high-profile sellers with the goal of creating in-demand consumer brands, ultimately amassing a diverse portfolio.
In late 2021, with the acquisition of KW-Commerce and a $500M investment, SellerX expanded its reach within the consumer goods sector. The company's long-term vision is to revolutionize the industry by developing a powerful brand portfolio, leveraging the growing demand for eCommerce-driven consumer products.
However, this year has been challenging for SellerX. A slowdown in growth and rising debt pressures led to significant financial restructuring, with BlackRock set to become the largest shareholder as part of a deal to reduce the company's debt. Despite these hurdles, the deal offers a fresh start, providing SellerX with improved liquidity and new backing to stabilize its position and continue reshaping the eCommerce space.
